"Solid Harmony were fantastic!" was one of the comments made by an audience member last night, and they definetly were!

They were one of the many spectacular acts that partaked in "Sing It", the musical strand of the Newham Arts Festival, at the Barbican last night. Joined by guest artists Jason Yarde and Eska Mtungwazi, they performed "I Choose" and "Heavenly Father", which saw a collaboration between the Namibian Exchange Students and the choir.

Other artists at the event included the Grand Union Orchestra, NewVIc's Nashaa - South Asian Music Ensemble and the Newham Academy as well as both secondary and primary schools from within Newham. The Mayor of Newham opened the ceremony.

We all look forward to next year's event!
