Solid Harmony at CME Wales 2004
On Saturday 30th July, 12 members of Solid Harmony, 2 chaperones and their conductor, set off in the NewVIc minibus for Wales. The Canadian organization CME - Choral Music Experience, were holding a convention at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, for international choirs and conductors.

Solid Harmony prepared a wide selection of repertoire, sent by CME for4 intensive weeks prior to the departure. The music included everything from North American Indian chants to Mozart's 'Magic Flute' Opera.

After a week of hard work with members of the CME faculty, in particular the wonderful Janet Galvan, Scott Gilmore, Lorna MacDonald, Doreen Rao and of course Willaim Buhr accompanying. The choir also had great fun getting to know the Washington State Youth Choir and the St. Louis Youth Choir. All choirs came together on the last day to perform at Llandaff Cathedral and St. David's Hall.

Solid Harmony thank the Institute for an "inspiring and rewarding" week.
